The church of Santa Maria Annunciata was designed and built between 1964 and 1966 by Giò Ponti. In the mind of the great architect it should have represented a place of prayer and, above all, using the words of Gio Ponti himself: “a vessel-ark where man and God can meet”. Located in the San Siro district, the church is characterized by a facade covered with a relief in porcelain stoneware with a faceted effect. The tiles are a light-sensitive metallic gray color.

For this project, Teamwork made ceramic tiles with two different reliefs. Typologies faithful to the originals designed by architect Giò Ponti.

Further in-depth analysis of the study of the glaze to be applied to the substrate resulted in the color effects for the types of renovations required.
